Meet Dr. Antony

Dr. Soosai Antony, DVM

Dr. Soosai Antony was raised in a family of self-sustaining farmers, fostering a lifelong passion for animal husbandry and agriculture. He graduated from the University of Peradeniya in Sri Lanka and began his career as a Government Veterinarian. After migrating to Canada, he obtained his equivalency from the University of Toronto in 2002.

While working as a research scientist at Thermo Fisher Scientific, Dr. Soosai remained committed to his veterinary ambitions, continually updating his knowledge and skills. His professional interests include preventative and internal medicine, abdominal and soft tissue surgery, and dentistry. He strongly believes in utilizing advancements to provide the best possible care for his patients.

Dr. Soosai enjoys traveling, exploring nature, and playing sports, particularly soccer and cricket. He also writes poems, short stories and dramas in his language. Outside of work, he cherishes time with his family—his wife, two daughters, and mother. He is dedicated to the well-being of both pets and their owners.
