Meet Lia

Lia, RVT

Lia graduated from the Veterinary Technology Program at the University of Guelph, Ridgetown Campus in 2024, with distinction. Growing up always having a pet in the house solidified Lia’s love for animals – ensuring her that one day, it would be her career.

Not only do animals drive her passion, but being able to educate and help pet parents navigate the hardships and happiness that comes with owning an animal is a fundamental aspect of the job that sparked her desire to pursue a profession in the veterinary field.

Lia is a proud owner of her own two furry friends – Bowie (Husky X) and Jovee (Ragdoll) and can typically be found with them when not at work. She enjoys spending her spare time with her friends and family or cozied in the house with a good movie.

She is thrilled to be a member of the LAC family and cannot wait to make a difference in your pet’s life!
