Meet Amanda

Amanda, CSR

Amanda graduated in June 2024 with honours in Veterinary Medical Assistant at Willis College in Ottawa. Amanda did a 2 month placement at Burford Veterinary Hospital and then joined the LAC team in August 2024. Amanda would like to continue in Veterinary education.

Amanda has a love for horses and volunteered at Whispering Hearts Horse Rescue in Hagersville when she was in high school. Amanda grew up with a love for all animals. Amanda knew when she was younger that she wanted to go to school to be able to work and help animals when she grew up.

Amanda owns a ball python named Luna and a cat named Molly. Outside of her passion for animals and veterinary medicine, Amanda likes to go hiking, spend time with family and friends, reading books and spending time with her snake and cat.
