Robin grew up on a farm in the Ancaster area, animals have always been an important part of her life. She met her husband, Dr. Brent Babcock when he came to the farm to vet check her horses. Robin joined the LAC team in 2006 after leaving her job with the Hamilton Public Library. She enjoys working with the animals and meeting the clients. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her furry family, reading, exercising and scrap booking. Both Brent and Robin enjoy gardening and have attended night school to obtain their landscape design certificates. Helping animals in need has become a large part of their life. She volunteered with the Canadian Yorkshire Terrier Rescue when it was a group in Ontario, they now foster and re home dogs, and both volunteer in the Dominican with the rescue organization “Moringa’s Mission” twice a year. The Babcock family consist of two yorkshire terriers – Sage, Sailor, Sawyer (white boxer), Cora (a corgi cross from the Dominican), one rescued kitty – Paris; one Quarter Horse named Missle Toes, one miniature pony named Casino, one rescued Shetland pony named Juliet and a rescued miniature donkey named Bella.
